Verse 11:42

Meaning

Arjuna spoke

O, Illimitable Achyuta (Krishna)! I seek forgiveness for any lack of reverence I may have displayed toward you, whether in jest, while walking, sitting, resting, or during meals, whether in private or in the presence of others! (11:42)

अर्जुन उवाच

यच्चावहासार्थमसत्कृतोऽसि विहारशय्यासनभोजनेषु ।

एकोऽथवाप्यच्युत तत्समक्षं तत्क्षामये त्वामहमप्रमेयम् ॥ 11:42 ॥

यत् च अव-हास-अर्थम् असत्कृतः

असि विहार-शय्या-आसन-भोजनेषु; एकः अथवा अपि अच्युत तत् समक्षम्, तत् क्षामये त्वाम् अहम् अ-प्रमेयम्।
