Chapter 11: The Yoga of the Vision of the Universal Form
Verse 11:9

Meaning

Sanjaya spoke

O, King Dhritarāshtra! After uttering these words, Hari (Krishna), the Supreme Lord of Mystical Powers, revealed His Supreme Personality and its splendor to Pārtha. (11:9)

Commentary

The title "Hari" is used for Bhagawān Vishnu and also for his incarnations such as Bhagawān Rāma and Bhagawān Krishna.

सञ्जय उवाच

एवमुक्त्वा ततो राजन्महायोगेश्वरो हरिः ।

दर्शयामास पार्थाय परमं रूपमैश्वरम् ॥ 11:9 ॥
