Verse 18:40

Meaning

Supreme God Krishna spoke

There is nothing and no one on Earth, in higher realms, among the gods, or elsewhere that is exempt from the influence of the three Modes of Nature. (18:40)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच

न तदस्ति पृथिव्यां वा दिवि देवेषु वा पुनः ।

सत्त्वं प्रकृतिजैर्मुक्तं यदेभिः स्यात्त्रिभिर्गुणैः ॥ 18:40 ॥

न तत् अस्ति पृथिव्याम्, वा दिवि, देवेषु वा पुनः

सत्त्वम् प्रकृति-जैः मुक्तम् यत् एभिः स्यात् त्रिभिः गुणैः।
