Verse 2:17

Meaning

Supreme God Krishna spoke

Know that Reality to be indestructible, which permeates all existence {including this body as its soul}. No one can bring about its cessation. (2:17)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच

अविनाशि तु तद्विद्धि येन सर्वमिदं ततम् ।

विनाशमव्ययस्यास्य न कश्चित्कर्तुमर्हति ॥ 2:17 ॥

अ-विनाशि तु तत् विद्धि, येन् सर्वम् इदम् ततम्;
