Verse 2:18

Meaning

Supreme God Krishna spoke

The one residing within this body is eternal, indestructible, and beyond the grasp of the mind and senses. The bodies assumed by this in-dwelling entity are fleeting forms. Therefore, O Bharata Scion, engage in the battle! (2:18)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच

अन्तवन्त इमे देहा नित्यस्योक्ताः शरीरिणः ।

अनाशिनोऽप्रमेयस्य तस्माद्युध्यस्व भारत ॥ 2:18 ॥

अन्त-वन्तः इमे देहाः नित्यस्य उक्ताः शरीरिणः,

अनाशिनः अ-प्रमेयस्य— तस्मात् युध्यस्व भारत!
