अध्याय 2: सांख्य योग
श्लोक 2:15
अर्थ
भगवान श्री कृष्ण बोले
O, the Best among Men! One who maintains serene equanimity amidst joys and sorrows is undisturbed by these experiences. Such an individual truly deserves immortality. (2:15)
टीका
The soul is already immortal. When the Lord talks about "deserving immortality" here, it’s not about living forever in the same body. Instead, it’s about breaking free from the repetitive cycle of being born, growing, aging, and dying. This ultimate state of freedom and realization is known as "Immortality"— the soul’s true emancipation. One must thus prepare to make one's inherent immortality manifest.
